Megan May is a Maltese singer-songwriter, producer and sound engineer driven by a love for emotionally resonant storytelling and genre-defying music. Drawing from her background in musical theatre, formal music education and a diverse musical upbringing, she combines strong musicianship and technical expertise with an instinctive, deeply personal approach to songwriting and production.

 

Named ‘Best Young Music Artist of the Year’, Megan has developed her career as an independent artist while simultaneously building her expertise behind the scenes. Following her graduation from the Abbey Road Institute, she has expanded into music production, sound engineering, composition and orchestration, creating music both for her own artist project and for visual media.

 

Her work has already extended into film, television and live events, with credits including the Mediterranean Film Festival and Envision 2050. Within the sync space, Megan is developing original compositions, orchestrations and productions tailored to visual storytelling, bringing a versatile musical palette and a strong understanding of emotion, narrative and sonic detail to every project.
